Can I collect my hire car from the gold coast airport?

Yes. When you arrive you give us a call on 07 5536 2806 and we come over to the airport to collect you from the short term car park area. We then bring you back to our office (5 minutes away) to complete the paperwork. When you return the vehicle to our office we will drop you to the departure gate.

What type of car can I hire?

Our cars are six to ten years old, automatic and air conditioned. We have available small, medium and large sedans and wagons, including a six seater falcon wagon suitable for larger families. All cars are well maintained and serviced in our workshop Carter Automotive.

In what area can I drive the car?

Our Group 1 cars can be driven as far north as Brisbane and south to Byron Bay, included in this area is the Gold Coast Hinterland.

Our Group 2 cars can be driven all over the Gold Coast and Tweed Coast. Included in the hire rate is 200kms per day, so if you hire for 7 days you can use up to 1400kms at no extra cost.

Are there any additional charges added to the daily rate advertised?

No. Our rates include all fees and charges including GST, insurance and additional drivers. We also provide baby seats and maps free of charge.

What is the insurance excess?

It's the amount you have to pay in the event of an accident/damage.

You are liable for $1,000 insurance excess, this can be reduced to $250 for an additional fee.

Do I need a credit card to hire a car?

Yes. You need to provide your credit card as security deposit to cover the insurance excess if you have an accident.

Sand Safari Arts Festival

Gold Coast Triathlon – Luke Harrop Memorial is a Triathlon Australia National Championship Event and attracts DOUBLE POINTS as a qualifying event to compete for Australia at the Age Group ITU World Championships in the Gold Coast 12-16 September 2018. Athletes must compete in the Age Group category to qualify points and selection.
